Locations of the project

(Case studies)

Two locations were selected as case studies for the project:
The Wadden Sea on the German North Sea coast and
the Great Barrier Reef on the east coast of Australia.
Both regions have unique ecological characteristics, are of high value to coastal inhabitants of the respective countries, are protected as World Heritage Sites, and are suffering from the impacts of climate change.
